Review of the Surface Book 3

I used to work with Scott Hanselman, way back in the day. He now works at Microsoft as a Technology Evangelist. His blog is not only a great resource, but a wealth of knowledge for the development community. Go to his link for a deep dive into the Surface Book 3.
My assessment of the Surface is very similar to Scott’s. It is very quick as the 8-Core i7 @ 3.5GHz processes everything that I through at it with ease. With a dedicated NVDIA GeForce GTX 1060ti, it will play any game with great resolution at 1080p, 60fps.

It has a 15″ screen that you can flip around in several different positions. One feature that I love about these tablets. The Surface Book 3 has a larger hard-drive than I was expecting, with a 2TB M2 SSD, the boot and load times are measured in seconds. And of course, it has the touchscreen and stylus pen that you would come to expect from the Microsoft Surface product line.
